"After Gonzaga I honestly don't really have any set in stone plans at the moment. There are so many things that I want to do and being diagnosed with cancer has changed a lot of what I want to do in the future. I think my plan for right now is to live in Portland, Oregon with my family and take the year off to study for the GRE and start applying for programs to get my Masters in Public Health. I also want to do a lot of traveling! That is all I really have on my mind so far.

GU has made such a big impact on my life and I am forever grateful of the connections and friendships that I have made. I could not have picked a better school for me and I have learned so much about myself and have grown so much from the GU experience. Go Zags!"

We are so fortunate to have had Katie on our team the last four years. Her development, not only as a tennis player, but as a leader and teammate has been astounding. She has contributed to our program on and off the court. I am constantly amazed at her perseverance and positive attitude. Obviously the last year has been challenging, but the amazing thing is when I would call to make sure she was feeling ok and upbeat she had a greater impact on my mindset and outlook. I am so honored to have had Katie as a member of our team, and she has made an impact on my life that will never diminish. She truly embodies what it means to be a Zag!
